"REAL WORLD" MENTORING PROGRAM FOR CBU STUDENTS

If you are a CBU student and would like to be paired with a mentor out there in the "real world" who can assist you with job or graduate school readiness and give you the skinny on the work-a-day world, please consider signing up for the CBU mentoring program sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Honors Program. Accepted students will be paired with a working professional in your area of interest, or with whom you have other things in common (e.g,. community service interests). This is our second year to have this program at CBU. Last year’s class saw 12 students successfully complete this program.

In order to participate, you will need to commit to attending three lunch meetings in the spring semester (dates TBA, most likely to be held Tuesdays or Thursday at 12:15-2:00 on campus), a dinner meeting, and a visit to your mentor's place of work. At each meeting you will interact with your mentor or engage in an activity led by a professional facilitator (e.g. resume development specific to your goals, etiquette, or other such professional development activities).

In order to apply to this program, please download the application at this link.

Email the completed application to skirkpat@cbu.edu. A limited number of students will be accepted into this year’s mentoring class. Acceptance will be based upon application and ability to find an appropriate mentor.
