Thomson-Peterson’s Guide of Colleges for
High Achieving Students
CBU Listed in “Competitive Colleges”
(Memphis)---Christian Brothers University is listed
in the 2003-2004 edition of “Competitive Colleges”, published
by Thomson-Peterson’s.
The book lists 401 colleges and universities in the United States and
Canada that attract “high achieving students.” The publication
measures the competitiveness of admisson environment at colleges. The
colleges and universities listed in the publication admit a higher than
average share of the nation’s high-achieving students.

as one of the competitive colleges, “ said Courtney Fee, dean
of admission at CBU. “The University is already ranked among the
best Southern universities and noted as a best value and for its campus
diversity. College choice is based on a number of factors, including
quality of programs and identifying a campus environment and a student

others.”
Christian Brothers University is ranked in the Top Tier of U. S. News
and World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges”
among Southern Universities Granting Master’s Degrees. CBU also
is listed as a “best value” and cited for campus diversity.
Founded in 1871, the University enrolls nearly 2000 students and offers
numerous undergraduate programs in arts, business, engineering and sciences
as well as graduate programs in engineering management, business administration
and education.
