Executive Director, Elisa C. Marus Mission The Office of Communications and Marketing leads the efforts to articulate the university's mission and to generate goodwill and support for Christian Brothers University among prospective students and their parents, alumni, donors, on-campus constituents and friends. These efforts are developed from an integrated and collaborative communications and marketing strategy utilizing traditional and electronic communications. The office supports institutional, academic and administrative goals of the University with attention to the President's Office, Admissions Offices, and the Alumni and Development Offices and offers direction and collaboration in communications and marketing for CBU's schools and departments. The Office of Communications and Marketing focuses on: • Cultivating and maintaining public awareness and understanding of CBU, its mission and its educational excellence. • Cultivating positive attitudes toward the University and managing any misunderstood perceptions of the University. • Identifying and promoting the University’s numerous strengths to the city, region and the nation through effective relationships with news media and other influencers. • Promoting the quality of teaching, residence life and the works of community service offered by students, faculty and staff. • Supporting ongoing efforts of the development and alumni staffs in relationship marketing. • Providing information on the CBU athletics programs to local, regional and national media.
