Do you accept girls?
Yes, while the Christian Brothers are an entirely male order, the student
body is made up of both sexes. In fact, the current student body is
57% female and 43% male.
So, who are the Christian Brothers
anyway?
The Christian Brothers, or Brothers of the Christian Schools, are members
of a Catholic teaching order founded in the late 17th century by a French
priest named John Baptist de La Salle. De La Salle was canonized by
Pope Leo XIII in 1900, and is designated as the Patron Saint of Teachers.
The De La Salle Christian Brothers, along with more than 60,000 lay
colleagues, currently teach over 775,000 students in 79 countries. In
the United States, CBU is one of seven Lasallian colleges and universities.

specific questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your admissions
counselor.
