In a world where technology is common place and intertwining in the daily lives of everyone, Christian Brothers University is striving to stay ahead and keep pace with the breakneck speed at which the world is moving.

CBU students are a priority when it comes to technology and our Information Technology Services department goes to great efforts to bring both the best service and greatest advances to those that attend.

Students on campus are given access to an 8M network line that stays online 24/7. ITS has also installed a wireless network available in most major buildings across campus. Have a laptop and want to work outside since it's such a beautiful day? CBU wants to be able to let you do just that by offering our wireless network outdoors in our Buckman Quad as well. Other services brought to students staying in the residence halls include free cable, telephone services and voicemail system, a free university email account, as well as access to hundreds of PCs across campus in ITS maintained labs. Most computers are running Windows but 10 percent of computers are also running the latest Mac OS.
