Friendship Pre-orientation
An orientation in addition to the orientation for all first year
students. The pre-orientation affords first year students an opportunity
to meet current international students, faculty, staff and alumni, become
acquainted with immigration policies and procedures for F-1 students in
higher education, open bank accounts, complete health insurance forms, go
shopping , etc.
Buddy Program
First years international students are assigned an upper-class student to
serve as a buddy that assists them in adjusting to the first year of
college.
Host Family
first year international students are assigned a faculty, staff or alumni,
who serves as a family to the student throughout the academic school year.
Immigration and Naturalization Services
International students are kept abreast of the following immigration
issues as they apply to F1 students in higher education.
