Classroom teacher, school administrator, and instructor

Research Interests

Currently, I am focusing on three areas: working conditions in urban school environments, beginning teacher attrition and retention as well as education law.

Outside of my university teaching, I am active in the local urban school district. I have forged relationships that enable me to have access to numerous school settings and have a first hand knowledge of the inner workings of an urban school district.
