The Department of Fine Arts and Speech includes Art, Music, Theatre
and Speech. The department offers a major in Fine Arts with an emphasis
in Studio Art, as well as minors in Art, Music Performance and Theatre
Arts.
Art
courses are offered in two and three-dimensional studio format,
as well as a survey lecture class in art history. Drawing, painting
and printmaking acquaint students with a variety of techniques using

Music
courses include Private Voice Instruction, Private Piano Instruction,
Music Appreciation, Music Theory, CB Singers, and World Music. These
classes are open to all students; however, Private Voice Instruction,
Private Piano Instruction, and CB Singers require auditions.
Courses in Theatre
include Production, Introduction to Theatre, Acting, History of
the Theatre and Oral Interpretation of Literature. Students can

Introduction to Speech
is available to students across campus and is required for majors
in Business and Arts. Through the study of speech, students are
able to cultivate their personal talents and facilitate public performances
