Program Structure The Certificate in Financial Planning is a sequential six-course certificate program that meets every Tuesday night {if you start in September) or every Thursday night (if you start in January).
Students can expect to complete the program in 12 months. Please refer to our

Admission Criteria Participants in the certificate program must have a four-year degree or equivalent work experience. Any requests for exceptions to the above admissions requirements must be made in writing to the Program Director. Application Procedures For additional information on the Financial Planning program, call Ms. Jacque Mahr at the School of Business at CBU at (901) 321-3315 or complete the application attached to the brochure and send it to the address indicated. Students can download a copy of our application from this web site or click on this application link for a copy in word format. Enrollment Tuition Costs for the six-course curriculum is $4,200, plus books and materials. Certificate Upon successful completion of all required courses, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Christian Brothers University. Christian Brothers University is a registered program with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. Students who successfully complete the certificate program will be eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. Program Faculty Christian Brothers University is proud to have assembled a world-class faculty, in conjunction with Kaplan Financial. All faculty in the Certificate of Financial Planning program have either the CFP® or another professional designation or license. The faculty presents the material in a manner that allows students to utilize their time efficiently and effectively outside of the classroom.
