apply only to day courses. Evening and summer school course offerings
are scheduled according to need. Christian Brothers University reserves
the right to cancel classes at any time due to insufficient enrollment.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES When a student has passed two or more years of the same foreign language with at least a “C” average in high school, she/he may choose one of the following options: 1. Enroll in the same foreign language studied in high
school at the 201 level (recommended option) or at the 101 or 102 level
(permitted options). A minimum of thirty minutes per week in the language laboratory is required for all 100 and 200 level courses. Upper-division language courses may be taken concurrently with intermediate courses with prior approval of the instructor. Upper-division language courses may be offered as tutorial courses with the availability and the consent of the instructor and the approval of the Chair of the Department of Literature and Languages.
