CBU Selected Yellow Ribbon University
Program Enables Full-Tuition Benefits to Veterans

Christian Brothers University (CBU) can now offer qualified veterans full-tuition benefits under the U.S. Department of Veterans Yellow Ribbon Program.

In the state of Tennessee, the Post-9/11 GI Bill provides financial aid equal to University of Tennessee - Knoxville’s tuition. With the added benefits of the Yellow Ribbon Program, CBU and the Veteran’s Administration can enable a veteran to receive full-tuition. This provision of the new GI Bill gives veterans the opportunity to enroll at CBU to finish their degree or to begin a new step in their educational career with a new degree.

Under the Yellow Ribbon Program, veterans who have served three years active duty since the devastation of 9/11 will receive full benefits of the new GI Bill. Those veterans who have not served the full three years can still receive pro-rated benefits. The program begins this fall and in some cases, the benefits are transferable to spouses and dependants.
