Welcome to Christian Brothers University …
it’s an exciting time to be a member of our campus community!
Let me share just a few of our ongoing initiatives. This fall, we will establish a new Living Learning Community for first-year Engineering and Science majors; anywhere on campus inside or out, we will have wireless access to the Internet; our on-campus athletic fields will have a new look; and we will break ground on the construction of a new residence hall that will serve as a Living-Learning Center welcoming first year students in summer 2011.
I invite you to become part of this innovative and exciting community. At CBU, a Catholic, Lasallian university, you will be pushed to learn, use your talents, and ultimately succeed in your life's pursuits.
You will find a place that offers individualized attention, not huge lecture halls. You will find a rigorous academic environment that nurtures and challenges you at the same time. You will receive the real- world experience, analytical abilities, critical thinking skills, global awareness, technology background, and an ethical foundation that are essential for your future success. And we’re here for you to ensure that you succeed.
With our many different educational options - full-time, part-time, online, evening and graduate programs - you will be able to find one that best suits your needs. CBU is a place where you can distinguish yourself above the rest.
Your academic experience can span the globe. While located in the heart of Memphis, CBU extends far beyond our 75-acre campus. As part of the De LaSalle Christian Brothers network that spans 80+ countries, you will have opportunities to travel on a group trip during a school break, spend a whole semester abroad or even participate in the research programs that go to Uganda, Thailand or Brazil under the direction of our talented faculty.
When you leave CBU, you’ll be ready and able to meet any of today’s professional challenges and make a difference in the world. CBU graduates are not only flourishing, they are leaders. I invite you to "check us out." Explore the rest of our Web site, pay us a visit and meet us in person. Spend time with our faculty and current students - they’ll be glad to show you around our beautiful campus and tell you what makes CBU the right university for them.
So take an extra minute and look at CBU - see how you can distinguish yourself with a degree from CBU.
