Graduate Education Programs

The Graduate Education Programs at Christian Brothers University have one mission, with two levels of program: initial and advanced programs. Our core mission is to prepare excellent K-12 teachers who will lead in their classrooms and in their schools. Their leadership will add value to the lives and learning of children and young people and also make strong contributions to the improvement of schools where they teach.

Initial teaching licensure ProgramS
Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.)
The M.A.T. is for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree and wish to obtain initial teaching licensure. Available for transitional licensure candidates as well.
