As a CBU student, your academic experience can span the globe. Our Study Abroad program offers destinations in 10 countries across 5 continents through the Lasallian Consortium. Whether you decide to travel on one of the group trips during a school break or spend a whole semester abroad, studying in a foreign country is sure to be an adventure! Our study abroad students have the opportunity to witness first-hand spectacular historical sites and experience the nuances of local culture – all while earning college credit!*

Our Mission: The Study Abroad Program at Christian Brothers University seeks to promote global learning by exposing students and faculty to other countries, cultures, and languages. We seek to engage students and faculty in awareness of global issues connected to U.S. relations with the rest of the world. To that end, Christian Brothers University offers a variety of study abroad opportunities to students and faculty. Our programs, through the Lasallian Consortium, span the world and include intensive language as well as content courses. Additionally, we encourage "engaged" learning by promoting living, service, and internship opportunities abroad.

What are my options for studying abroad? We offer two ways to study abroad: group trips and semester/summer study abroad. Group trips vary in duration (from 7-8 days during a school break to one month during the summer session). Semester/summer study abroad can be either individual or through an exchange program.

Global Studies Minor: A global studies minor is a great addition to any major! Click here for more information.

*Details will be posted as plans develop. All trips are tentative and subject to sufficient enrollment.
