Use Choice Reviews Online to:

• see what is newly published in your discipline
• help you select items to request for library purchase

Directions

1. » Access Choice Reviews Online 
   
   
2. Search Choice Reviews Online for book reviews by discipline
3. • click on the Advanced Search link under Quick Search (or the Advanced Search button at the top of the page)
   • enter search criteria or limit results by Choice Subject Heading or Interdisciplinary categories
   • other limits you may use include copyright year, readership level, Choice recommendation, format, and Outstanding Academic Titles designation
   • depending on how broad your search is, it may take a little while for your results to appear (be patient)
     
     
4. Click on any of the titles to read the reviews.  You may download, print or email the review.
   
   
5. Register (Optional): to store lists of titles online or to save searches, you need to create a profile and obtain a password.
   
   
6. Click on “+ Add to List” to save the items you like.  To access your saved list, click on "Selected Records Page" at the top of the screen.
   
   
7. To request that the library purchase any item, simply email or print your list and send/give it to your department's library liaison. 
   
   
8. Log out: on the Choice Reviews Online homepage, click on the link that says "Logout of IP".  Failure to log out will prevent others from obtaining immediate access to Choice Reviews Online after you.
