Position: Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences (Tenure Track)
Department: Behavioral Sciences
Reports To: Chair, Behavioral Sciences Department
Start Date: August 16, 2012

Summary: The Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences teaches:
- Biological Psychology (i.e., Behavioral Neuroscience)
- Human Development (i.e., Developmental Psychology)
- Statistics and Research Methods
- Personality
- Courses in area of expertise
- The ability to teach General Psychology/Introduction to Psychology is desired but not a requirement
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches 12 hours per semester; day and evening classes
- Advises approximately 15 students each semester
- Teaches upper-level lecture courses in Psychology
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engages in continuing professional development
- Serves on University committees
- Engages in service work at the campus or local level
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- PhD in Clinical Health Psychology preferred. Other applicants (e.g., Experimental Psychology, Clinical Psychology) are encouraged to apply
- Undergraduate teaching experience preferred
