TEACH Act

The Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization (TEACH) Act of 2002 gave expanded rights to educators related to the display of copyrighted performance works in online instruction.

Specifically, it applies to digital transmissions provided during an online class that is comparable to a face-to-face class. The class must be limited to enrolled students. The act applies to accredited, nonprofit educational institutions only.
