1. Why does my password expire?
-
The reason your password expires is in order to offer you
and the rest of the campus improved security. The longer
your password remains the same, the greater the risk that
your password could be stolen and your account compromised.
By regularly changing your password, the probability of
someone stealing your password is greatly reduced.
2. Will I be warned before my password
expires? back to the top
-
Your password will expire 120 days after the last time you
reset your password.
-
An email will be sent to you 7 days prior to your
password's expiration that will serve as a warning.
-
If you still haven't changed your password after this 7 day
warning period, the password will be reset to a random value. This will lock you completely out of your account until the password is reset.
