1. Who can use this service? back to the top

Any officially recognized Christian Brothers University club or organization, interdepartmental groups/committees, and current classes, provided the instructor makes the request.

2. How do I obtain a listserv account? back to the top

You may request the creation of a listserv account by completing the listserv request form. Please make sure to fill it out as completely as possible. If you have any difficulties, you may send an email to help@cbu.edu.

3. Who maintains the listserv account? back to the top

The user who originally made the request OR a designated user as specified by the original requestor. This person is commonly known as the account Administrator. The Administrator has access to modify the members of the listserv account including permission modifications.

NOTE: ITS creates the accounts. ITS does not maintain the accounts unless a problem occurs that cannot be processed by the account administrator at which point a request should be submitted to the helpdesk.

There are two methods in which to subscribe to a listserv account, they are as follows:

You can automatically un-subscribe by sending an email to the listserv, such as unsubscribe-groupname@lists.cbu.edu. Remember to insert the actual name of the group in place of "groupname" in the preceding email address.
