Changing your server password automatically changes your WebCT Password.

Changing your server password does not automatically change
your password for dial-in and VPN. There is currently no
way to change your dial-in and VPN password yourself.

Open Eudora

Select the Tools option

Select Options within the Tools menu

Choose category "Checking Mail"

If the "save password" box is checked, click once to remove
the checkmark

Select the File option

Select Check Mail within the File menu

You will be prompted to enter your new password

Type in your new password

Select the Tools option

Select the Options within the Tools menu

Choose category "Checking Mail"

If the "save password" box is not checked, click once to
add the checkmark noting that your password is saved in
Eudora

Select the Special option

Select "Forget Password" within the Special menu

Select Check Mail within the File menu

You will be prompted to enter your new password

Double click on My Computer

Double click on Control Panel

Double click on Passwords

Choose Change Windows Password

Click OK
-
Enter Old password
Press Tab

Enter New password
Press Tab

Enter new password again (confirm new password)
Click OK
You should receive a confirmation that your windows password
was successfully changed. Please close all of the windows
opened during this procedure and resume your computer
activities.
Windows 2000/XP

Press the Ctrl, Alt and Del keys at the same time.

Click the "Change Password" button.

Enter Old password
Press Tab
-
Enter New password
Press Tab
-
Enter new password again (confirm new password)
Click OK

A message "Your password has been changed" will
appear.
Click OK

Click the "Cancel" button.

Resume your computer activities.
4. How do I change my banner password?

Log in to Banner using your current password.

Type the form name GUAPSWD into the direct access
box.
Press the Enter key.

A Banner password must begin with a letter of the alphabet.
5. How do I change my Dial-in/VPN
password? back to the top

There is currently no way to change your Dial-in/VPN
password by yourself. If you forget your password, contact
the helpdesk.

Authentication was set up for any existing user who used
these services on December 27, 2005. The password you had
in NIS+ at the time is your Dial-in/VPN password. If your
server account was created after this date or if you did
not use these services prior to December 27, 2005, please
contact the helpdesk if you wish to use either the Dial-in
or VPN service.
