back
to the top
WSFTP LE is software that is used for the purpose of
transferring files from one computer to another. FTP stands
for File Transfer Protocol. By using a username and password,
one can log into another computer and have access to
directories to transfer files to and from that computer. This
means there are two primary functions of WSFTP.
Downloading - This is the act of selecting a file from a
remote computer or server and transferring it to the computer
you are physically sitting at.
Uploading - This is the act of selecting a file from the
computer you are using and transferring it to a remote
computer or server.
