International Peer Leaders are here to help you adjust to your new life at Christian Brothers University! They will introduce themselves and facilitate an icebreaker activity so that we all can get to know each other better.

WELCOME TO AMERICA, THE SOUTH, AND CBU
Federico C. Gomez-Uroz will enlighten you on Memphis culture and how to adjust to your new surroundings.
11:00–11:35 a.m.
IMMIGRATION REGULATIONS AND COMPLIANCE
Dean Karen Conway-Barnett will discuss immigration regulations and requirements.
11:35–11:45 a.m.
HEALTH SERVICES
Ms. Heather Harrington will discuss health forms and required immunizations.
11:45–12:25 p.m.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
Dr. Pong Malasri will discuss the difference in collectivism vs individualism in academic work — topics include plagiarism, group assignments, and academic integrity.
12:25–1:00 p.m.
LUNCH
*Undergraduate students are dismissed for the day to obtain CBU ID cards/pay fees. Location: Campus Safety Office

CAREER SERVICES
Learn the five steps to a successful career through Career Services. Location: Montesi Executive Center

BUSINESS OFFICE
Learn about your financial responsibilities as a CBU Student, including accounts, deadlines, etc. Location: Montesi Executive Center

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Our IT department will show you how to set up your CBU email address and navigate our Student Information System. Location: Buckman Hall 208 & 217
2:30–3:00 p.m.
REGISTRAR
Learn about DegreeWorks and how to access the Academic Catalog and Academic Calendar. Location: Buckman Hall 208 & 217
3:00–4:00 p.m.
TITLE IX
Dr. Timothy Doyle will discuss personal relationships, campus rules, and federal regulations. Location: Montesi Executive Center

CAMPUS SAFETY
Graduate Students are dismissed to get ID cards. Location: Campus Safety Office
