Friendship Pre-orientation

An orientation in addition to the orientation for all first year students. The pre-orientation affords first year students an opportunity to meet current international students, faculty, staff and alumni, become acquainted with immigration policies and procedures for F-1 students in higher education, open bank accounts, complete health insurance forms, go shopping , etc.

Buddy Program

First years international students are assigned an upper-class student to serve as a buddy that assists them in adjusting to the first year of college.

Host Family

First year international students are assigned a faculty, staff or alumni, who serves as a family to the student throughout the academic school year.
