"Bryan Blankenship:
Hindsight 20/20"
Blankenship’s pottery features a variety of work including different pieces of kitchenware in a multitude of colors, some vibrant and some more subtle. The pottery included in the collection is formed in the classical style, to which the artist has dedicated himself. "I am drawn to many of the classical forms repeated throughout the history of ceramic vessel making," states Blankenship. He also believes that because working with clay is an individualistic activity that a part of himself is encapsulated in each piece his produces. While every work is art, Blankenship underlines the functionality of every vessel.
