Library Instruction Services for Faculty:
How We Can Help You
Individual
Consultation
Any faculty member may request an individual
instruction session in his or her office or in the library.
Topics can include database searching, Internet searching,
and the use of library resources in general.
Group or Departmental
Consultation
Instruction Library staff is available
to provide orientation to new faculty or to demonstrate
the use of any of the library's resources. Contact the Instruction
Librarian for more information.
Instructional
Design Support
Library staff can work with faculty
to create or revise assignments that require the use of
the library or other informational resources, including
the Internet. Services can also include identifying information
literacy objectives, providing you with ideas for classroom
activities, and providing you with the means to assess the
information literacy skills of your students.
