Business Plans and Profiles Index
This subject guide to sample business plans and profiles for specific business types was created by staff at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Plough Library owns a few of the books that are indexed here. In addition, the index provides links to many online samples.
First Tennessee Small Business Center (Memphis Public Library)
The Small Business Center at the Memphis Public Library offers links to local and state small business resources and a directory, Where to Go for Small Business Information in Memphis and Shelby County. The list of small business resources can be searched by agency or subject, and entries provide information on type of help offered, any associated costs or requirements, and contacts.
Minority Business Development Agency
An agency of the Department of Commerce, the MBDA provides access to public/private debt and equity financing.
Tennessee Small Business Development Center
TSBDC offices provide counseling for management and technical business problems. Find TSBDC location throughout the State. Includes a training and education calendar for the year.
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
This site maintains information helpful for small businesses such as currently available Federal financing and training, and general topics on starting and expanding a small business.
