    Science-specific web database that offers access to content from a targeted crawl of the open web along with material from many science focused specialized/deep web databases (including full text articles some free, some fee-based).
  • Science.gov
    Government science organizations select their best science information for science.gov. Includes selected authoritative science Web sites and often hard-to-access scientific databases (specific content varies by database).
  • SciTechResources.gov
    Provides the scientist, engineer, and science-aware citizen with easy access to key government web sites. Allows more advanced search options than Science.gov.
  • ISIHighlyCited.com
    Free, online gateway to the world's most cited and influential scientific authors.
  • EurekAlert!
    Electronic index of research advances in science, medicine, health, and technology as published in news briefs and science media, including peer-reviewed journals.
  • Dictionary of Scientific Quotations
    Published by naturalSCIENCE, an independent online journal, this is a list of famous science-related quotations, in order by the name of the person to whom the quote is attributed.
  • On Being a Scientist: Responsible Conduct in Research
    A booklet on ethics and values in scientific research, prepared by the National Academy of Sciences.
