These include foundational knowledge of business applications, information systems, and web development, as well as special topics that allow you to intensively study what interests you most. There’s even an internship option, in which you’ll work for a company, a charity organization, or CBU on real-world MIS projects.

What You’ll Study

The Management Information Systems concentration is part of the Business Administration major, which requires 121 credit hours. You’ll take CBU general education and liberal arts courses, business core courses, and courses in:

  • Systems analysis and design
  • Application and web development
  • Database design and business intelligence
  • Qualitative methods of management
  • Information systems project management

You will also have the opportunity to complete a MIS internship.
