WebCT software will be used for all on-line courses. Each student will be given a username and password to access WebCT.
It will be the source of video lectures, weekly assignments, and communication during the course.
- Video Lectures: The lecture sessions will correspond to the topics outlined in the syllabus. The video lectures are based on PowerPoint presentations
that include the main points of each section in the chapter. The lectures will be studied individually by each student. Video lectures
may either be downloaded from WebCT or given to students on DVD. Once logged in WebCT, students will be able to view an instructional demonstration for downloading the
video lectures.
- Weekly Assignments: Students will have assignments each week. These assignments will be sent to the instructor via WebCT. In addition, students should send
questions, regarding the material studied, to the instructor. Answers to all questions will be posted in WebCT for all students to view.
- Communication: All communication with the instructor will be via WebCT (email, discussion, chat, assignments, grades, etc.) Discussion boards and chat rooms
will be used to provide communication between students, and students and the instructor.
