Gulu: One project, 2 student positions available

Project description: Efficacy of art therapy to reduce post-traumatic stress in formerly abducted child soldiers.  Conduct art therapy intervention with experimental and control groups.

 2008 Project Title: The Efficacy of Art Therapy as a Psychosocial Intervention for Former Child Soldiers in Northern Uganda.

Mbarara: One project, 2 student positions available  

Project description: Assessing the feasibility of cooperation between traditional and modern health practitioners.  Conduct interviews with traditional healers, modern health practitioners, and community member.

2008 Project Title: Traditional and Modern Health Practitioners: Facilitating a Cooperation to Improve Healthcare in Southwest Uganda.
