The Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) bridges the gap between technology and business. It empowers practicing engineers, scientists and technicians with knowledge, skills and tools needed to lead their organization to success.
Technical careers eventually lead you to a decision to continue in a technical track or move into a managerial position. The MSEM program blends your scientific approach to problem solving with leadership and business knowledge. This will give you a competitive advantage to further your career and enhances your leading the company to a competitive advantage in the market.
- Full-time students can complete the degree in one year.
- Part-time students can complete the degree within eighteen months.
We recommend that working professionals take the 33-credit hour non-thesis option and full-time candidates or those intending to pursue a career in research, the 33-hour thesis option. Check with the Program Director at memp@cbu.edu and (901) 321-3283 to discuss with option is right for you.
When you join the program, you should expect to improve your leadership, project management, financial management, strategic planning, technology transfer, ethical and legal perspectives, team relations and organizational behavior skills.
