The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence (Alliance) and Christian Brother University’s (CBU) School of Business introduces four new certificate programs. These programs are a joint effort between the Alliance and CBU to further educate individuals about non-profit management and leadership.
The new certificate programs include Frameworks of Nonprofit Excellence, Finance, Human Resources Management and Fund Development. The Frameworks certificate is designed with the complete organization in mind, allowing up to three staff/board members to attend each course. The other three certificates are designed for individual development. Participants in these four programs will be awarded a certificate jointly issued by the Alliance and CBU.
The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence offers training, consulting and grant writing services for nonprofit organizations in the Mid-South. Serving over 200 agencies, the Alliance offers several nationally recognized programs including the 501(c)ollege. As part of their training division 501 (c)ollege, the Alliance provides individual classes and certificate programs such as those now being offered in conjunction with CBU.
CBU, a four-year, private university affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, was established in 1871 and is a Mid-South icon for education. CBU offers undergraduate degrees in liberal arts, business, engineering and the sciences; and graduate degrees in business, executive leadership, education, engineering management and Catholic studies. It is ranked among the Top 25 Southern universities by U.S. News & World Report in the 2009 edition of “America’s Best Colleges.”
