Christian Brothers University (CBU) is hosting an engineering workshop for high school students that will introduce them to a number of the technologies that make flight reliable and safe. This workshop will be held Tuesday, September 22 from 3:30 to 5:45 p.m. in the University Theater on the CBU campus.
Participants will learn about the intricacies of instrument systems and engines and the basic aircraft dynamics of simple gliders. In conjunction with CBU professors, students will build and test a small glider of their own.
This workshop is free and open to all students in grades 9-12. Seating is limited, so advance registration is required.
