Come by to learn more about the company, the positions they typically offer, and enjoy free pizza!  What a deal!  Why would you miss it?  Students in Finance, Management, Marketing, Business Administration and related areas should have particular interest in this session, but all students and alumni who are interested in learning more about the organization are welcome to attend.  [RSVP]

Two information tables are scheduled outside Alfonso Dining Hall this week from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

* Representatives from Outback Steakhouse will be on campus on Wednesday, October 15th, recruiting for positions available with their organization.
* Representatives from the US Army Recruiting Office will be here on Friday, October 17th.

Teach_for_America_logo122710[1]Teach For America has scheduled an information session on Wednesday, October 29th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Buckman 102.  They will be sharing information about their organization, teaching positions that available, and about their up-coming series of campus interviews scheduled later this semester.  All students interested in learning more are welcome to attend…all majors!

The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law will be hosting the 2014 Law Admissions Workshop and Law School Recruitment Fair.

Where: The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law
1 North Front Street, Wade Auditorium, Memphis, TN 38103
When: Tuesday, October 21; Law Admissions Workshop 5–6 p.m.; Recruitment Fair 6–8 p.m.

Currently nine law schools will be in attendance. The law schools in attendance include: University of Memphis, University of Tennessee, University of Mississippi, Mississippi College, Lincoln Memorial University, Belmont University School of Law, University of Kentucky, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and University of Louisville. Kaplan Test Prep will also attend. Kaplan Test Prep will be giving away a test preparation class to one lucky attendee.  All interested CBU students are welcome to attend.

Tribune Media Company dba WREG-TV will host a career fair for public participation on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 9:00am – 12 noon. Some job descriptions will be available for those interested in careers in Broadcasting. There are not openings in all positions. See list of openings below.

This is an opportunity to introduce the local job market to possible careers in Broadcasting. Station management will be present to answer questions about careers in the industry and share information about the education and experience required to qualify for various positions.
