The CBU School of Engineering hosted a series of Lunch & Learns this fall. These talks are available to all engineering students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
- October 11 – Hugh Teaford gave a talk about the Memphis Railroad & Trolley Museum and plans to reopen the Harahan Bridge for bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
- November 8 - Mark Cooper, Ph.D., from FedEx Services, gave a talk titled “The Real Curriculum” which looks beyond the surface of topics covered in college courses to expose the skills that have true lasting value.
- November 29 – “Microalgae Biofuels and Food: A Current Perspective” – Jim Burkhead, Vice President of Applied Technology, talked about the status, challenges, and opportunities for algae to fuels technology.
