The TAPPI Foundation has started a scholarship fund specifically for CBU Packaging students with the initial amount of $2,500. A call for applications will be issued in the near future. Students in the B.S. in Engineering Management program (Packaging Concentration), the Packaging Minor program and the Packaging Engineering Certificate program are eligible to apply. TAPPI plans to build up the scholarship fund from the contributions by the pulp/paper/packaging industry. TAPPI (TAPPI.org), headquartered in Atlanta, is a trade/professional organization which represents the leading association for the worldwide pulp, paper, packaging and converting industries.
