Biology
Research: Substitution of Independent Research
(BIOL 461, 462: 2 cr.) for Mentored Research (BIOL 463, 464, 465: 5 cr.)
requires permission of the Chair or course director. Students who
take Independent Research will have to make up 3 credits in Biology in
order to complete the 122 hours required minimum.

| SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS REQUIREMENTS (minimum 34 hours) | |
Recommended: CHEM 312 or 315-316 Biochemistry or CHEM 214 Quantitative Analysis; any chemistry course with a lab at the 200 level or above will satisfy the requirement. |
Where lab courses are offered, both the lab and lecture must be taken in order for the course to count toward the degree. |
