  • Minimum total number of credits required for graduation with a B.S. in Biology: 133. 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 in Biology courses is required for graduation.
  • Transfer students must take at least 17 hours of biology at or above the 300 level at Christian Brothers University.
Notes:
  • 1.  MATH 117 is not required for those who place into MATH 131, Calculus I.
  • 2.  A minimum of 23 hours of biology electives must be selected, including at least 16 hours at or above the 300 level and at least one course from each of the four groups listed below; maximum number of Biology hours is 58.
  • 3.  A minimum of 27 hours of free electives; no more than 16 hours can be in Biology.
  • 4.  Not a social science.
  • 5.  Recommended: CHEM 312 or 214; any chemistry course at 200 level or above will satisfy the requirement.
  • 6.  Select one: PHIL 213, 219, 220, 224, 234, 321, 322, 323, and 340.
  • 7.  BIOL 461-462 may be substituted for BIOL 463-464-465.
