Top 8 Students In Local Olympiad Exam

The following students have qualified to return to CBU at 8:15 am on April 14, 2000, for the Olympiad National Exam. The total time for this year's National Exam is 205 minutes. Part I (90 minutes) is a multiple choice test covering a broad range of chemical topics. Part II (105 minutes) requires written responses explaining the meaning and/or use of chemical models and theories. Part III (90 minutes) is a laboratory practical that seeks to identify students’ ability to handle practical tasks, to solve problems, and to demonstrate laboratory techniques.

The registration and written parts of the National Exam will be in the Conference Room of the Thomas Center. This room is on the lower level of the building where lunch was served.
