1. Math electives must be among Math 301, 308, 309, 329, 405 and 470-9.
2. The student who takes CS 172 should also take CS 171.
3. A student must choose electives to earn a minor in one of biology, chemistry, computer science or physics. A student must also take 8 hours of biology, chemistry or physics outside the minor.

4. A student chooses either biology electives of Microbiology & Lab and Cell/Molecular Biology & Lab to earn a minor in biology or chemistry electives of Biochemistry I & Lab and Biochemistry II to earn a minor in chemistry.
5. The biology elective is a course in biology numbered 300 or above. The student earns a minor in biology.
6. The student who takes CS 172 should also take CS 171.

7. Philosophy must satisfy a Moral Values requirement.
8. A student with the Forensics option needs only 3 hours. Anth 126 is a Social Science course.

The GPA in the mathematics requirements must be at least 2.0.
