Any campus-wide party sponsored by a University club or organization must comply with the bus policy. A bus must be provided for any event off campus where alcohol is being served and/or sold. The following guidelines must be followed:
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the bus loading area or on board the buses.
- The sponsoring organization is responsible for ensuring that a Campus Safety Officer, Campus or Alumni Advisor, or Student Life Staff member is present while students board buses. This staff person or advisor will not permit any student who is intoxicated on board.
- Organizations are required to have at least two students monitoring the area where buses are departing. Student monitors must check in with the Campus Safety Officer or Student Life Staff member upon their arrival. The role of the student monitors is to help maintain order amongst students while waiting to board the buses.
- The sponsoring organization will be fined $100 if the bus loading area is not clean by 8:00 a.m. the day following the event.
