Mission Statement: The Dean of Students is the University's chief judicial affairs officer. The office is also designed to accommodate the needs of international students, students with disabilities and to support commuter and minority students, as well as to assist the University in its goal of supporting diversity. Meet The Dean: Ms. Karen Conway is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State College, located in Joplin, Missouri, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel Services from the University of Memphis. Her higher education experience consists of Human Resources Manager at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Human Relations Specialist at Georgetown town University in Washington D.C., and Director of Multicultural Affairs at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Her professional affiliations consist of National Association of Foreign Student Advisors, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, National Clearing House for Commuter Programs and Association On Higher Education and Disability. Her hobbies are walking, fishing, reading and listening to "Smokey Robinson" oldies.
