Sponsored by a grant from The Madonna Circle, the CBU Community Garden is cultivated by faculty, staff and student volunteers. Working in partnership with GrowMemphis, we belong to a network of gardens in Memphis, TN addressing food security, nutritional education, and community rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide our campus community free healthy organic food, and provide our students with mentoring and leadership opportunities through community service outreach.
Located along the path between Stritch Hall and the soccer field, the garden is open to the public and you are welcome and encouraged to take vegetables for one meal at a time as needed. If you would like to grow food in the garden and contribute to its care, contact Sean MacInnes.
