| CBU biology professors Brother Edward Salgado and Dr. Stan Eisen took 39 students (who are in Biology 412 Ecology and/or Biology 335 Invertebrate Zoology) on a field trip to the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Ocean Springs, MS, on November 16-18. CBU has a participation agreement with this lab that is operated by the University of Southern Mississippi. CBU students were not able to go last year due to Katrina, but are back on schedule this year. The purpose of the trip was to study the marine and salt marsh ecosystems. |
