Research Design
- This research project’s conceptual framework was based on the health belief model. Researchers followed the design of this model to determine the health benefit of micro insurance users compared to that of non-micro insurance users.
- Key themes of the health belief model highlighted are perceived severity and susceptibility to illness, cost of access to care, benefits, barriers, self-efficacy, social factors, and cues to action.
- This study essentially hoped to reveal the affects of micro insurance on the health outcomes of rural Ugandans in Kisiizi.
