The Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to explore the steps that are required to complete a qualitative research project using some quantitative methods.
This research project was a study of how ordinary Ugandan people understand malaria prevention strategies and how they implement these strategies. Malaria is the number one cause of death in Uganda; therefore, it was very important for us to have understood what the people knew about Malaria. Once they receive the results of our study the Save Health for Uganda (SHU) organization will use our data to develop new Malaria educational materials for the natives to use.
