Purpose of Study
The purpose of this multi-site ethnographic qualitative study is linked to initial product design.
The product was designed to assist low income families in transitional issues after the death of a major wage earner (in the case of accidental death) and to help MFI groups when a member dies (in that they do not have to pay his/her loan balance, as it is covered by the policy).
Our first question is, therefore, “does this product do what it was designed to do?”
