Have laminar flow (previously assumed) as long as flow is slow enough; otherwise have turbulent flow

Reynolds number:

R = 2vavgr??? = 2Q?/(?r?) (dimensionless!)

If R < 2000, then laminar;

If R > 2000, then turbulent.
