KE = (1/2)mv2 . Note that the kinetic energy depends on m (the more mass the more kinetic energy) and on v2 (if you double the speed, you quadruple the kinetic energy).
Also note that the kinetic energy must always be either zero or positive - it can’t be negative. (This is like cash in the money analogy.)
