Notice that the rubber bullet gave about twice the kick to the wood block that the lead bullet did!
If we think about it, the rubber bullet caused the wood block to catch it, and then throw it back! The lead bullet only was caught by the block - it was not thrown back. Hence the block was kicked more by the rubber bullet.
